RESTORATIVE TREATMENT

Diagnosis Methods
It can occur on the surfaces of rotten teeth and the chewing area of teeth, interfaces of teeth that touch each other or the neck area of the teeth. It’s easy to detect the browning and dents in the surfaces that can be seen with the naked eye. But for the rotten teeth that haven’t developed these symptoms it is needed to take an x-ray along with their diagnosis. Upon left untreated the rot that starts from teeth enamel reaches dentin tissue. Dentin dissolves much more easily compared to enamel thus rot spreads more quickly. If the aching persists constantly then the rot has reached the vein-nerve packed area pupal layer and root canal treatment is needed.
Bonding
Bonding is a process that does not harm the teeth and is appropriate to fix small problems in teeth. It will give teeth a better look and aids to smile esthetics. Sometimes teeth can be smaller or bigger than the wanted size. The color might not be as the way we want. In these cases, small additions to teeth with Bonding and granting it a new appearance is possible.
For unwanted spacing among the teeth to be filled, form and color changes in teeth, Bonding can be applied very easily. It is a method that is used to fill two the holes between two or more teeth. Also its preferred when there is deviousness or falling cases in a young patient where the teeth is broken and porcelain application is not possible to be applied. In fact, even on the cases where half of the teeth is broken it can still be applied successfully.
If there is no problem in teeth (such as rot), anesthesia usage is not required. During this process the patient won’t feel any aching or pain. Before the application the teeth are not needed to be abraded. This process that will provide esthetics to the persons smile and solve the small problems in the teeth is mostly applied in a single session. The single session takes between 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on the size of the esthetical operation. But the session count that will be applied might change from person to person depending on the operation that will be applied.
Composite Filling
Generally, we use composite filling in our clinic.
It’s a plastic mixture containing silicon dioxide. It’s unnoticeable with the various color options and it’s also known as esthetical-white filling. The material that was once solely used on front teeth is now compatible to back teeth after being strengthened by various methods. Using a special adhesive agent, the filling material placed in teeth is hardened with light beam machine and varnished in the same session.
Porcelain Filling (Inlay-On lay)
Measurements are taken from the cavity that is made using porcelain filling and sent to laboratory. When the patient arrives the next session the varnished porcelain is stuck on filling cavity.
